Michael, I couldn't honestly tell you when they switched over to wood from all black but maybe someone else wouldn't mind chiming in. |

Location: Palm Desert, CA | It is loud and projects---as loud as my Martin D28 but not as mellow/warm/woody (obviously has that traditional Ovation sound. |
