Here
re

was that a bargain? I really want a USA ovation so I've been keeping an eye on these non-cutaway, even non electric balladeer types. Anyone know what to look out for when trying to score something USA made for under $200 shipped?

Even with no case and "It is in good condition. The body has a bunch of light surface scratches and marks", I'd have to say 'yes', as long as there are no surprises (i.e. cracks, bad neck).

I've owned two CBs (still have one) and when 'opened up' they have some sweet mojo.

Yes that was a good deal. I was watching that, and thinking about it.
I just couldn't justify another Balladeer right now, so I didn't wanna run-up the price by bidding on something that I really didn't care if I won or not.

And Yes, at a tad over $150, That was a Great Deal!

ditto the great deal, Paid 240.00 w/case for my 1111 about 20 months ago, which I would rate a 9.00 out of 10.

Thanks. I'm thinking the main thing I'm worried about (other than bad cracks) is ensuring that there is no dip in the fret board where the neck meets the body, my 6 month old CC24 does this and I do not like that at all.

Can you say, "bowl-bend"?
Or, give it a taller nut, & play slide.
