Location: South of most, North of few | OK, here we go again. Very nice 1681 in relatively rare -7 burst with nice gold fleck for sale. Just had the fret board re leveled and re fretted at the Mothership. Only issue worth mentioning is a small chip in the rope binding on the bass side of the lower bout. Hard to notice as the texture is so rough anyway. Sounds like a textured top Adamas should and with a fresh set up, plays great. Only reason I'm selling it is the 1 11/16 nut, and the 1680 is on the way. OP 24 preamp, deep bowl, yada yada... 1200.00 shipped Conn US w/ OHSC. Or make me an offer.... ;)

Location: Michigan | Wow again (I seem to say this more and more these days). I wish I had the $$ for this. I think this is what Larry Coryell played when I say him way back when. I have always thought these were the coolist guitars made. Maybe someday. I just got stiffed 26k by a customer that filed chapter 11. Chapter 11---legalized stealing if you ask me...but that is another matter.
Good luck with the sale, someone will be very happy. |

Good luck with the sale, Jim. I know someone is going to be very happy. OOOooo...sell it to nervous if you can - he's inside of an hour from me... |

i know this help, so you can thank me latter.

Great guitar and at that price you couldn't lose a dime...
I mean really, how long could she go without speaking to you, a month?
How often so you see that color come along? better grab it while you can...
Besides, Trader's got that layaway plan.
That couch is looking softer every minute. |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | TJ, is this one you had at Smokey's Jam #1? If it is, it's the only Adamas I've ever played that I really, really liked--if I remember correctly, the neck is a C, and not a V shape?
Siiiiiiiiigh. Must tell self, deep body, bad shoulder...deep body, bad shoulder...deep body, bad shoulder. :(

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Another little fishy nibbling - one of my students is seriously interested. I told her about it the other day, pulled up the pics, and let her play my Adamas just to see if she liked the feel of it. I'll be seeing her tomorrow for her lesson and will tell her she'd better hurry. (And if she doesn't, I might!) |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | It's not the weight, Mishka, it's the depth--reaching over the tops of the deep bowls just wreaks havoc with my shoulder, and that's why Jewel is super-shallow. I remember playing it and thinking how much I wished I could have one like it, but it deserves to be played more than 20-30 minutes at a time. I can get away with it with the Parlor because the bout profiling is so much slimmer, but not this one.
Really bummed...I hope it stays in the family, 'cause then at least I might have a chance to play it again, however briefly.

Location: South of most, North of few | Thanks guys and gals for the comments. I know I should keep this one, but I probably should have kept a lot of them too. It's my nature. Anyway, I'll be on the computer a little less for the next week as I'll be joining Johnny in the Keys. We're just packing up the motorhome and leaving in about an hour. Hope I can pick up internet access there. |

and yes, I am crazy. ;) |
