Location: Austin, Texas | Hey guys, I have one of the Ovation GP's made popular by Josh Homme from QOTSA. It is red. I'm considering selling it (if the price is right) to get another guitar. If you're interested please email me and I'll be happy to send you lots of pictures of it.

| Hi smbeatty, and welcome to the OFC!
unless you post an asking price, your post will probably be deleted... and pictures or links to pictures in detail of the guitar will definitely help...
if you're going to list here post a price you are comfortable with, and see what kind of response you get...
you have some of the most knowledgeable persons regarding Ovation and Adamas guitars on this forum, including their designers, techs, luthiers, engineers, administrators, marketers, and ex-ceo's... and a couple of flyboys and gas jockeys to boot...
again welcome, the GP is a sought after model, but it's value has dropped some since all the QOTSA hoopla died, and Josh is no longer playing one.
Regards,
Glenn |

Well, I can't help ya, regardless who used to play one; even if it was this one.

$4k, huh? Why is it worth that much? They sold on ebay a few years ago for a high price that was a lot less than that.
I'm not trying to put you down. I hope you get $4k for it. Ovations don't get the respect they deserve in the market place. But I'd be interested in how you arrived at that figure..... |
