Anyway, I just got this one and it is a stellar example of what an Adamas should sound like. For those who haven't played a 1680, let's just say, it's an experience. Great bass without being muddy. Extremely light in weight even with the OP VIP preamp. One piece walnut neck, mop fretboard inlays, 12 fret, slot head heaven. Not an FRG. I'll part with it for just what I have in it, and will include free shipping to the conn. US. $1550.00.

You put this up two hours after I get off the phone with the factory?! I've half been waiting for you to do it too, but I just committed to a big hunk of change. The sad part is, I'm still trying to figure out if I can get this one.  |

If he doesn't want it, Allison is next in line. As far as I know it will stop there, but you never know. That would be up to her at the time. |

Of course all of this is probably moot because Bluesailor will probably buy it anyway, but if he doesn't, I just HAVE to have this guitar. As a matter of fact, if he does buy it, I will be on the lookout for one somewhere. |

Probably for the best.....I am sending chunks of money to Tony C. for what seems to be every month. |

If I do take her home, I'd bet that GAS will get the better of me in the not so distant future. I've sold guitars that I never thought I'd let go in the past. I tend to view guitars as being on loan to me until something else strikes my fancy.
(And then there is a nice 000-28 VS out there somewhere with my name on it.....somewhere)

Did I mention I have a rather large German Shepard that we only feed once a week? He stays in the same room as the guitars. ;) |

Mine smells like New Jersey pizza, not quite sure why. |

Brad is looking for a specific sound he hears in his head. I did not think the 1680 was it... but when he hears it, it will indeed be one sweet guitar he will probably keep forever!
Keep looking Brad.....it's out there! |

I think I've found it. At least one that is very close. The 1680 is fantastic, just not THE one.
