Location: South of most, North of few | Up again. I seem to have an up and down relationship with the Adamas line, so catch me while I'm at the lower apex. Beautiful -7 burst with gold flek, textured top, 14 fret, 1 11/16 nut, OP24 pre...but you all know the specs. Booming sound yet very clear separation. Only issues are a couple of small chips in the "rope" binding, lower bass side bout, and some minor buckle rash on the back of the bowl. Very little play time since a complete re fret at the mothership. Shipped conn US in OHSC for 1100.00.

Location: South of most, North of few | BTW, if any of the SSSJ attendees are interested, or someone who lives close to one of the attendees, I can bring it to the jam and take 30 bucks off the price for the shipping. |

Pardon my confusion--is this the one you had at the Smokey's jam last year, or this another one of the fluctuating herd?

But good guitars like this are so few and far between in the UK. You're so lucky over there in the States. |

Location: SoCal | My posting from three years ago about this guitar (5/26/06) - they played with the Adamas and the Martin unplugged. Serge is CountryArtist on the OFC:
------------------------------
I was able to listen to Serge Lara (Countryartist) and Joe Reyes' new CD - their 7th CD together. Very nice.
Tracks 7 and 8 are Serge with my Adamas II and Joe's Martin (along with a mandolin and uke).
From their website:
WORLD RENOWNED guitar masters Sergio Lara & Joe Reyes perform 11 new original compositions in "LARA & REYES", their 7th CD together.
Both guitarists are recognised as two of the finest exponents of their individual styles and the quality of music they have created as an ensemble during their long career has seldom been surpassed.
This new collection, entitled "LARA & REYES", captures the energy of their live performance with a set of tunes that blends freshness with chops to make this a must-hear for all fans of progressive acoustic music.
Together they both play acoustic steel string and nylon string guitars, as well as Sergio playing mandolin and Joe playing slide guitar and ukulele with special guest and long time collaborator Greg Norris on acoustic upright bass and electric bass guitar. |
