Nothing holds its value quite like an Ovation Collectors Series guitar.

YES!!!!!! (: (: (:

Got One!

THANKS AL! (excellent price!)

And thanks for the heads-up Dweeze. I've been wanting one of these since I first saw them, but the price was out of reach. I'm sure they won't last long after this price drop.

OH, ... and the Acoustic Bass below is going up on the sale block.

Yeah... In my evilBay addiction I had noticed that there were suddenly a bunch of 09C's out there.

But always remember... You "know sumbuddy" in Sout' Joisey.

The Bass just sold for my Buy it Now price and the 2009 Collectors is paid for. I love when a plan comes together!

Update...as I just bought the last two, only one left that Al has is 001 !!!

What makes this very unique as a collectible is the 001 serial number. Very unusual that the general public would have this opportunity. Maybe once in a lifetime.

Check it out. Probably won't last long... Rick Hall and 2009C

That is the only one he has left on-hand right?

Are you saying that all of the ones at the factory are gone and he(Al)can't order anymore?

There are some in the hands of other dealers; I took the last two at the factory which will be drop-shipped direct (serial probably high, 150 made).

No more being made unless they add a Guild logo. :p

From my research, not only is Al's the only low serial number available, it is 1/150.

Well, end of the saga (for now) as #001 will be coming to San Diego. Eventually, when I can jack up the price, the other two will be for sale or trade. Probably the last of the Collectors series and an outstanding instrument; first time I have played around with the Studio pre-amp. Kudos to the staff of Ovation.

And, thanks to Al, paid a lot, lot less than what Elderly is advertising it for ($2,999)

Get a chance, check it out...
