Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | It took me a few days to decide what to part with...this is the only instrument that is redundant in my collection as I have an '81 1687-7 that is stereo while the other '78, #119 is mono. So, this one is available. Just back from a check-up at Mothers place and clean bill of health. It plays fabulous and has mojo to spare. CHK signed May 1978 label...Original case w/factory made Epi Airlocks/feedback busters that fit under the top/epi's...original stereo Y cord included. Also a copy of the 1978 Adamas price list...Wonderful, early piece of Adamas history. $3000 shipped CONUS...first come, first served...
Photo Album:
1978 Adamas I #189-89
Money Order or Personal Check only...no Paypal
This guitar is also listed on Jerome's Ovation Tribute site (thanks Arnaud!)

I'd buy in the morning

Play all over this land
I'd buy without danger
I'd buy without warning
I'd buy it with love between my brothers and my sisters
and play all over this land |

Ouch, Mishkie, don't be so rough.
Be careful what you type. You never know when someone might quote it. |

Translation, please. Brad, think 'diet' and 'favorite hobby'... and BTW, not yours ... It's been a rough day. A rush order customer recieved the wrong gear ratio on a PTO, spent 48 minutes on the phone with a farmer from southern Indiana and still did not get the $80 sale, and I'm busy sorting out the OFC Calendar orders.
So please... no word puzzles.
Translation please. :)
EDIT... while I was busy typing this, good ol' U.S. posted the (ahem) straight poop.
Thanks U.S.!! |

Not nearly so crude but whatever...
Actually Brad, I had a rough day as well...but, hey, that's the way it goes sometimes...
US: your posts just remind me of having the same contributory value...quote away dude, I have a life... |

Techically they did not drop the F-bomb, but I knew what they meant.
Good luck with the sale Mike.
To bad it probably won't stay in the family. |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Actually Brad, it wasn't in "the family" to begin with, so I was glad to be able to welcome it in; but as I haven't yet offered it on the bay, and may not, it will probably just stay at home: in my family and "the family" as well...It's a great guitar and has had a very musical history.
Hope tomorrow goes better for you...hang in there...
US: sorry for snapping at ya...you're entitled to your opinion...just wish they were positive now and then...I did like your story...not so much the ending, but I have my opinions as well... |

Not that I'm contributing to this discussion about the gutar. Just the phrase. |
