Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Things change and I have decided to sell these three guitars. All are like new and among the best examples existing: the eBay auctions links are as follows:
1. 1615-1 Pacemaker 12 1977; this guitar was given the Mothership treatment last year and is literally near mint: GC Bowl and Top; FET 2 Stacked preamp; wonderful sound; just back from the SSSJ III where it wowed many who heard it. One of the best 12's on the planet, hands down. $550 start $750 BIN
Ebay
2. 1253-1 Deacon 12 1975; you will not find a nicer example for sale...early small pickguard; deluxe Ovation Schaller bridge; perfect intonation; plays like a dream; new strings...
Followers will remember the story on this of my 30 year search for this guitar...but. things change and priorities do as well. If you are even thinking about one of these, this is the one! Case is also in great shape and includes original bridge and copy of Deacon 12 instructions. $1600 Start $1795 BIN
ebay
3. 1868-6p Elite SSB 6 string 1990, Mint Condition, probably the cleanest on the planet. Original case.
$650 start $825 BIN

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Mike, I don't have enough guitars or boxes to ship them in to catch up...that would take years...lol
FYI: The Deacon went to a musician w/Billy Joel as well as others; The Pacemaker went to a fellow Pastor in Finland; The Elite SSB went to a player in France...so they will all get used and I got my OFC II and took care of some things for the family and SWMBO...in this economy, I'm very thankful. |
