They are steel strings, I think the picture is slightly blurred. $1159?

that's because it is a Koa top...very nice guitar.

notice the inlaid epaulet and the tortoise binding.

came with the VIP pre-amp.

clean, classic.

I DO like these 06 Collectors by what I've seen of them. As a matter-of-fact, I think the MS has done quite a job on producing some exceptionally fine collectors guitars in the recent past. This one is on my short list also.

... I don't know about guitars and the snow, but the deep, cool waters of Lake Superior have preserved and produced some very valuable old-growth trees that many instument companies have bent over backwards to get. Perhaps putting all our guitars out in the snow will up their value ???
