The 79 in the second listing has a K-Bar neck..
????
I thought they came later.... guess not.

K-bar was introduced with the Adamas in 1977. The slotheads had traditional truss rods, but the production 1687's had K-bars.

In the Ovation line, K-bars were started to be used in 1979 and phased in over the next year or so....

I still own my old faithful '79 1112 which I bought new back then, and it has a K-Bar neckā¦
