Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | I can't! My car broke down!! Can't even get it started. (It's not the battery. I think it's one of those darned computer things. If I can ever get it to the shop I'll know, and then I may be selling some stuff here if it's an expensive fix.) For now though, the one mile walk to work in 50 and 60 degree temperatures has been very pleasant and great exercise! So stay tuned. I'm going to try to get one of my regulars to either help me start it, or tow it to the shop on Sunday, (my only day off). Now all I have to do is figure out which guitars I can part with... |

Location: Utica, NY | Hey Jim, do the pearloid tuner buttons make a noticeable difference in the weight of the headstock while playing or in the balance of the guitar vs. a full set of nickle or gold metal buttons? |

Location: Waurika OK | Have been reading a lot of the old posts about the 1758's. Convinced me I have chosen a good guitar. Seems that some of the white ones have been traded around among OFC members.
Would you mind giving some of the history on this one?
thanx noel |

Location: South of most, North of few | I have to give a public apology to Noel. Another member contacted me about this one a few minutes before he did and decided to buy it while I was confirming with Noel. Got my wires crossed and I had to check the time on the pm's and felt I had to award it to the first confirmed buyer which I did. I am sorry for any confusion I have caused for Noel or myself for that matter. |

Noel,
You are definitely one of those!
Day-um, this is the second git I know of that has 'evaded' you.
Just a story of encouragement fer ya:
A while back I missed a git in the same manner as you did on this one. The seller felt horrible, but I totally understood. Well, I now have 'first shot' on that same git I missed!
So, hang in there. And thanx for being xnoel! |
