Location: Corpus Christi, TX | I have an Elite Model 1547 S/N313099 that I am considering selling. I've had it since the early 80's, acquired it brand new and it has been played very little. I would say it is excellent to mint condition.
I am seriously considering selling this guitar but am having a hard time determining it's value.
Can anyone give me an idea of a fair price to ask for this guitar
And yes it is a 1547 cutaway |

Good luck with the sale and good luck to who ever wants to buy it.... |

Welcome, G. Make yourself at home, do some searching and then decide if that's really what you want to do.
If so, tree-fiddyone... |

So, one less in the market. Should make GCates' guitar a little bit more worthy.
Best regards,
Kurt |

I wasn't going to name a price, but Toby's right. And what makes it more interesting is that it's a guitar that slices and dices with other brands twice that much money.... |

| I had already e-mailed the seller, prior to the joking around above, and let him know that in today's depressed market at auction it would probably sell for between 1 and 2 thousand.
and that 3-4 years ago.... probably higher by another 1/3 at least.
waiting to find out if it's a -4 or -1..not that I can afford it by any means.. but just another rare one in the wild I'd like to see.
hope he can get his best price, and make a member here happy at the same time.
Regards,
Glenn |

After much soul searching, nostalgic trips down memory lane and just plain ole research I have finally reached a selling price that I believe is fair.
The price is $1,800 plus shipping at cost.
If any additional photos or info is needed please let me know. |

Location: Corpus Christi, TX | I put new strings on today and I had almost forgotten how good this guitar sounds. The aged wood top really adds a richness that can only happen naturally and in my opinion can't be reproduced by craftsmanship.
In electric mode the sound through the amplifier is pure and clean.
Would really like to see this fine guitar go to someone who will cherish it as I have over the years.
Don't be bashful, let's talk turkey! I don't really want to list it on sickbay. |

It was less than it should have gone for.
If you remember tell the number. I'm thinking 1200 but it might have been less. |

Even in tough times this is a rare one and would be a good grab for someone with the bucks. |
