Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | I need a good six string cutaway for one of my students. She has fallen in love with my 2077LX but there's no way I can sell it. Does anyone have one they could part with? I would also consider any other deep bowl or deep contour bowl with a cutaway. She is a very good guitarist and will give it a great home. Thanks all. |

| Hey Alison,
Slydog's still got the beautiful 1992 6868 vintage w/ohsc real cheap... it's a ssb I think he wants $450+shipping on that one.. gorgeous w/natural neck and no-screw schallers, and no fretmarkers on front of FB..
and he has a 6778LX-NEB as well... in as new condition, but no case... It has the OP-Pro preamp in it, inlaid epi's and is also in exceptional condition. I think he wants $500 plus shipping on that one.
we seem to have mis-placed a couple of cases...both of them black 9158s.. we have 2 more guitars than we have cases for... but all originally came with cases.. one of our moves or homes ate them..
regards,
Glenn |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Thanks you guys. But she definitely wants a deep or deep contour. What she REALLY wants is a 2077LX like mine. I had an extra one that I bought from Patch a while back and it was a beauty. I kept the one I got from BT and the one from Patch sold itself in a matter of days. Then when I started raving about these guitars a whole bunch of them came up for sale here. Now that I need one they are gone. Redfinn, if I can't find what I am looking for I'll be in touch about your 1767. Thanks everyone! |

| Alison, I forgot about one more he has for sale..
if she's a rock&roll kind of player,
Slydog also has a Black SSB Thunderbolt with the pointy headstock, lightning-bolt epis and the swooshy bridge and black saddle.. it's recently had a mothership refurbish and a neck re-set and it includes it's original OHSC as well. it has either the fet3 or op24 preamp on it with the 3-band eq. in excellent condition...
but in order to be a serious player of this guitar.... you should have a mullet, body piercings, and a few tattoos.... ;) :p
actually it's a great playing guitar... and plays as easy or easier than most electrics... it has a nice slim/fast neck on it.
Regards,
Glenn |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | OK gang, it's Sunday (my only day off) and it's snowing, so I'm going to go home now. I don't have internet there, so if anyone wants to get in touch with me you can get my home phone number from Karen (Jewel's Mom), Iffy, Trader, BT717 or Music Mike. I'd post it here but I guess we're not supposed to do that. I MAY have something in the works (Thanks Bob!) but in case that falls through, I'm still looking. Thanks all. |

There are a lot of people who cruise these boards, who never post, some of them harmless, some of them not. While I'll post my email address, I wouldn't post an address or phone number..... |

I asked for verification of model and serial numbers (SN 13002).
I hope this helps. |

I'm still waiting for a phone call about a guitar I might be getting for Christiane. If it doesn't work out I'll be contacting some of you about your offers. In the meantime, anybody got a 2077LX for sale? :) |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | OK!!!! I just heard from Bob (BT717) and he just picked up a nice 1767-4 for a REALLY good price. He drove 80 minutes round trip through the nasty Connecticut traffic to do this for me and I can't thank him enough! Christiane is going to be SO HAPPY! Bob, you are such a good friend and I owe you bigtime! Thanks again! |

Good job Bob, that is why you have to like this place. I might humbly suggest some Daddario phoshper bronze for the Christas stocking if Santa is reading this. A very nice match. |

Location: Vernon CT | I was playing the 1767 a bit this morning and this is my observations compared to my 1767:
Mine
Sunburst
K-bar V shape
Weight a couple of lb's more
Bassy w/ nice mids
No battery "door" :~(
Alison's
Natural
I believe this is a D shape neck
much lighter
Has battery door :~)
clearer pronounced notes
Both in very good condition
I am pretty sure you and Christina will love this guitar. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | This works out so well. The reason she (and I) fell in love with my 2077LX is the clear, pronounced notes. It's great that even if I wouldn't sell her the guitar she wanted, I was able to find her one that will satisfy her ear. And I owe it all to Bob. Yep, I'm "a little Iffy" about him, but I suppose he's OK. :D |

Remember that it is compared to MY 1767, so while the notes sound "Clearer" they still may not be as "defined " as the 2077LX. |
