Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | I have decided to let this one go. I assume most here know what this is, so I will not go into detail. If you do not, do a search; call a friend; take your head out of the sand.
This is the last of the series ever built: #87 out of 87. It is in pristine condition w/ original case, all case candy, COA, Vibrometer chart, custom walnut tuner buttons (originals in case pocket), and OFC Slothead Custom Strap w/brass clip. These do not come around EVER (with the exception of TnT's which sold several months ago)...
List was $5000; buy this mint example for $4200 shipped CONUS....Own what many are saying is the finest Adamas to come out of the factory since the originals in the mid Seventies.
This will be going to the bay day after tommorow at a higher price...don't miss it!

If I didn't have one already (Thank you again, Vision), I'd be selling the kids to get this one, a "magical" guitar. Good luck with your sale.

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | You know, I've never been one to covet money. I shop at consignment shops and the dollar store because I'm just not interested in blowing a lot of money on the latest style. But since I joined the OFC I find myself wishing I were wealthy so I could buy up all of these beautiful guitars. (I guess you know where my priorities are!)
Mike, are you absolutely SURE you want to part with this one? I'd hate to see you kicking yourself one day, or even worse, searching to replace it and either never finding one, or else having to pay twice as much. |

Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | Hi Mike,
that's a very nice one and I would like to have this, but it's too heavy for me.
Ralph Flinn has sold his one a few weeks ago for 4000€(about 6000$) in ebay Germany. It was gone in 2 or 3 days. It is a very fair price for yours.
Good luck with your sale.

Had to be a tough decision Yes, letting go of something precious is not easy...but I am at a junction where certain sacrifices are necessary.
I found out last week that my neck is worse than I knew...I had new scans and images done Thursday and I go back on the 16th to find out what is going to happen...I am 90% sure it will be surgery...that's a good thing...I will be pain free for the first time in over two years and have a little less side to side mobility...for me, that's a good trade off...
Also I am planning to concentrate more and more on my studio and my recordings. So I am thinning down to the tools that I will use and freeing up some closet and wall space in the process. If there are other guitars from time to time that catch my fancy, who knows, I may add one or two.
I have been blessed to own some of the finest guitars on the planet...I can only play one at a time and I have my favorites...so, I am offering some very nice instruments so others can make music with them...that is what they were made to do...
I will let you all know more about my upcoming surgery when I know it. In the meantime, hey, enjoy life! ;) |

I told him I could probably talk you down to $4,199.
This is a long-time guitar player who was making fun of me for playing O's until he picked that one up!

Location: Munich, Germany | Sorry to hear about the surgery, Mike. Hope it will give you the relief you're expecting.
Letting this one go - wow, I could never do it. I thought about selling mine about two years ago, but I couldn't. And, since I am in the mood of letting some guitars go, that I really never play - the 47RI and her beige custom sister will never leave the house.
These guitars are too good!
So, for everybody who missed these brandnew - this is a great chance!
And all the best to you, Mike,
Kurt |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Back for sale at the same price EXCEPT I'll split shipping both CONUS and INTERNATIONALLY: I have to use USPS Priority because of where I live and they have changed the rates from my local PO....It's getting expensive especially since they measure everything now. This is as good as it gets...PM or Email...
Happy Holidays!
Also will be up in the near future on eBay! |

Oh goody! I can't wait to see what I bought me!
I felt a little guilty for pouncing on your 47 RI, however since you had listed it, pulled it, and listed it again I was comfortable that you'd made up your mind. If it's any consolation I can assure you that I'll give it a good home with lots of playing and fresh strings.
Merry Christmas to you and your Family!

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Nick, NP; glad it's going to a good home and will be cared for...it has a new set of strings on it now but you may want to try something else: I have experimented with different set's and gauges and for me the medium sets work best...I liked Elixirs but you may like something else... |
