Never seen a case like that for an electric. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | It would make a nice extra to go with my grey Magnum Bass. I am a bit partial to the nice glow of a light maple neck though. I have the sunburst and it's really nice, but I'd like to trade staight across for the all blonde (maple?) body and neck with the black pick guard some day. |

But there was the chance it would stay around $300 since that's where it ended last week. I think that many auctions go higher once they're posted here. Maybe he'll get $400+ even with the small pictures (none showing the frets) and limited description.
bvince, does your sunburst viper have a maple neck and fretboard?

Recently I've seen 'em go from $250 to $600. I'd say the average is $450-500 in good or better condition.
Saw a natural the other day in terrific condition that had non-Ovation patterned Schaller replacement tuners that was $250. Stellar deal... (not mine!) |

Location: Utah | iffy, thanks. There's one local here at an average price. I'm noodling some ideas for Sara's graduation present, one idea being to refinish a Viper. She is applying to Berklee College of Music in Boston and if she goes there she'll need a guitar to haul back and forth to classes.
OK, that's just a rationalization, but a good one. She's already got a Preacher Deluxe, her Red Flame, and some non-O guitars. |

Yeah, I tried but someone decided to bid $50.00 at the same time as I hit the BIN so my bid was rejected... |

Back in the ole daze (2007 -2008) every time I ran an auction with a BIN
It always sold for more than the BIN if nobody hit it, and people chose to bid instead.
Usually somebody trying to grab a bargain helps the Seller. |

Somehow, I doubt it. |

Never seen a case like that for an electric. Not necessarily. That could be an original case but its hard to tell from that picture. I have a Viper from very late in the run (as is this one) and my case is black like this one. |

That's an original case.
I have two electric cases that are black, same as that.

Shootin's too good fer em! :D
I just wish the BIN would remain even if bids are placed - at least till the bids match the amount of the BIN!
Always seems that if I let an auction go hoping the item will be relisted with a lower reserve, the item will end up selling for more the second of third time around. |
