I've had mine for over 4 yrs now and it looks it.. but they are machine washable... and clean up nice.
my sweat must be as corrosive as Temp's cuz the sweat stains on mine have leached the color partially out of the cap. but I still wear it all the time.

College financial aid applications due this month require that taxes be done first. If there is anything more intrusive on privacy than taxes, it's college financial aid.
Those that have little income get all kinds of grants and tax credits. Those that make zillion$ can pay cash for their kids' college. Those of us middle class working stiffs get to A) Pay the taxes that the government gives away to the poor for their college, B) Are expected to cash in home equity and put off retirement savings to pay half of college costs, and C) Are expected to take out loans to pay the other half of college costs. Being a responsible middle class adult means getting screwed by the system!
And then there's private school tuition K-12 that I've paid in addition to paying taxes for the local public schools that we didn't use.
We're really hoping that Sara wins some scholarships. |

I'm waiting for the day when I see someone walking around Marine City wearing it. I can shout... HEY!.. STOP THAT MAN!!!. After that a street chase involving jumping over fences and barking dogs will ensue. It will end with me finding him crouched in fear by the dumpster behind Zimmerman's Meat Market. He will beg for mercy. HA! What makes slime like this think they deserve any type of human compassion. But I will overcome my basic instincts and consider his plea. Then I'll notice the massive sweat stains ON MY HAT! I'll try to reason with myself thinking that, after all, it is machine washable using the gentle cycle and a mild soap. That might save this poor excuse for a Michigander.... than again, it might not. |

To coin a phrase, those calendars aren't going to sell themselves... |

If you're talking about the dreaded FAFSA forms, I thought they (finally) changed the rules and now require the previous year's tax info. (2016 taxes for the January 2018 FAFSA forms), (but I could be wrong.)

Well…
now I do…
(I guess I should avoid reading/posting on my phone, since I obviously can't see the tiny screen well enough.)

I saw this post and JUMPED on it.
Only to discovered that I had been too late for the hat back in 2010.

Location: Houston, TX | standing...you are correct. 2016 taxes for 2018 FAFSA. Just did it. It's laughable how out of touch DC is with the real world. I made decent money in 2016, but the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) for 2018-2019 school year according to the FAFSA is 47k. I'm expected to be responsible for up to 4k a month. Gimme a break... |
