Location: Scotland | Just a little aside on the Third Hand Capo that Stephen is selling. The inventor of the Third Hand, Jeff Hickey, a truly wonderful human being who I've known for many years, died in a car accident last year. He left behind a family for whom he was the sole earner. So If you want to hear some great acoustic music and help out his wife and kids there may be a few of his CD's left and you can buy one here....

Pretty sure the SHUBB won't work but the BOP might.
I'll let you know tomorrow. |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | OK....on the 3 12 strings I have the BOP worked on 2 of them but on the baritone 12 the low "E" was a bit fuzzy. The baritone has a deeper neck and is more round than the other 2 which have flatter necks. I took it up to about the 7th fret on all 3 with pretty much the same results. It's possible I could have taken the slight muffled buzz out with a bit more work on the placement but I didn't really try. As you can see from the picture, the top portion is certainly long enough to easily accommodate 12 strings all the way up the neck.
The SHUBB surprisingly worked well on all 3 but only up to about the 3rd fret where the string spacing got just wide enough that the shorter SHUBB could not get a good hold on all the strings. I could get coverage up to the 5th fret but the string spacing became a bit distorted.
I'd say grab them both and I will do a combo deal for $20 with included shipping. Can't have too many good capos! |

The only capo left is the paige which is a really nice capo.. Read some reviews and see what you think. |

The remaining paige capo is a 12 string model P-12E w/Radius
(Width 2 1/4, Open Depth 1 1/16, Closed Depth 5/8)
A sleekly designed, controlled tension capo for 12 string and 6 string low profile / wider neck guitars. Rings help hold all 12 strings firmly and can be adjusted or removed from the fretbar.
Also still have both the acoustic and electric versions of the awesomely cool Power Picks. |
