Location: New England, USA | Looks to be well documented. Starting bid of $36,000. Yikes, I'm out before the game starts.
There is also a link in the listing to a site that has all of Denver's guitars inventoried, photos, etc. Pretty cool. Happy bidding!

As far as celebrity-owned guitars and such go, if you can sell it to a Museum it might be worth something to them. The mere fact that they are peddling it on evilBay just shows that it is NOT worth the asking price.
As far as History goes... The fact that John Denver owned and played a coupla dozen different guitars does not increase the value neither. |

Aside from that offer, they would have to find a very wealthy John Denver fan. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I was thinking of that, too. So the market for this guitar would have to be inherited wealthy John Denver fan. There might not even be one of those. Or maybe a lottery winner? |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Hey! ... don't get me wrong ... I don't have any anymosity for (or predjudice against) wealthy people. I wish I were one myself. But even if I WERE filthy-rich, I would still not buy that guitar for that price. |
