Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | This is the guitar that I played at Tim's last Labor day and could not put down...I was so impressed that I ordered #4 for myself the following Monday morning from Al. This is not a 2080 in the typical sense...not even close. It is more like a 2080 on steroids...
If you have not had a chance to see/hold/play one, you do not know what you are missing...this is the ultimate gigging guitar...just incredible!
The guitar of a lifetime waiting for a home... |

Location: South of most, North of few | I too got to play this one at the Smokeys Jam, and it is quite impressive. One thing about these is the pictures don't come close to doing them justice. I was quite indifferent to them when I first saw them in pics, but to see one in the flesh is different all together. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Well, since I already had No.5 of both the OFC-I and original 12-fret Koala models, it only seemed right to add yet another No. 5, plus I already have one of the rare matching cases. I was interested in this very guitar when they were first offered by Al, but then I hesitated because I had other things in the works, then Tim grabbed it. Just like back then, I have something else in the works right now with Al and the good folks at Takamine, so this transaction almost wasn't. Thanks to A.J. for making it happen. |

Location: Tennessee | Welcome to the club, Brad. The OFC II guitar has been the go-to guitar for me since it arrived. Usually the shine wears off new guitars after a few weeks ... not so with this one. Just the opposite, actually. The OFC II has "it" ... for me anyway. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I'm still an SSB guy, but I had this great carbon fiber case and nothing that matched it and, well, I know how much work Al put into these, and who can pass up a boost button?
I thought the same thing, Tim. You still have that outstanding double, too, don't you? |
