This guitar tunes a whole step lower at normal string tension, allowing for some beautiful sounding alternate tunings. It comes with the OP-50 preamp, which includes a built-in tuner, a 3-band equalizer, a phase switch, and notch filter (although the 7 or 8 times I played through a PA system, I never had feedback issues). It has both 1/4-inch and XLR outputs.

It is in great condition, with action set low enough that you can play with medium guage strings and still fly. It has left the house approx. 10 times since 2004, but has been played often during that time. No scratches or dings on the top or back, and two very minor scrapes on the side of the headstock, barely nocticeable. This guitar is a sonic canon and retails for over $1900. I am asking $1385.

Here's a link to Ovation's web page for this model, followed by links to high-res photos, followed by Youtube links for video of my guitar.

Elderly would be a good place to move it.
They will hit you up for a set up and new string charge, no matter how new the strings are and how good the set up is.
