| Recently decided to sell my guitar and tried to do some homework to answer any questions that would follow. Most folks here will know more about this guitar than me and the support staff at Ovation combined.
1997 Ovation Collector's edition with original case. Both are in beautiful condition. I always new the neck was a little wider,but not until recently did I measure it at the nut. The neck measures 1 7/8" (wide neck version). Was told by Ovation reps (john/Kim)that only 233 were made. The guitar is in near mint condition with the exception of a ding in the soundboard in the lower bout. Everything else (I mean everything)else is mint.
The walnut binding,headstock,neck,bowl,electronics perfect. No cracks, splits etc. Intonation dead on and voicing both strummed and fingerpicked is beautiful (reason for my purchase).
