These NEVER EVER EVER come up for sale!!!!!
and even in these tough economic times that is one hell of a price for a guitar model that probably has less than 50 in existence (and I am betting a few have been lost or destroyed forever).
If this one lasts through Labor Day weekend I will be shocked at the thought process some OFC members must have. |

Location: Cicero, NY | Sound is always subjective but I think this guitar (and I've played this specific one) is one of the best sounding guitars Ovation has EVER put out. I've said it several times here but, for the new guys, at my first Factory Tour I walked into a hotel full of the best Ovations built (as anyone who has been at any of the Tours will attest), played everything I could get hands on and there were three that absolutely blew me away - the 1537, the Ute and the FD14. All very different guitars but all incredible instruments. I own two of them now and this one would complete my Big 3 but I can't do it now. Different time and it'd be gone.
Collectibility and sound. You cannot possibly go wrong here. |

The only reason I'm not interested in this FD14 is that I already have one and it ain't going anywhere!
Whoever buys this is going to be a very happy camper.... |

If I had the cash it would already be on it's way to my house. |

I sold it for well considered reasons but, still, I'm lamenting is absence.
Sorry, I forgot to put a new battery in it.
(btw...donation was made to OFC for the sale. Do the right thing!) |
