Location: n/a | Hi all,
Selling my Ovation Pinnacle 3862 Series Acoustic/Electric guitar. It was made in 1985, Serial# 1500! Has original paperwork including a limited lifetime warranty. The guitar sold for around $900 at the time.
The guitar is in incredible shape and was professionally fret-dressed and setup. Comes with original Ovation hard case, and papers.
Asking $400 plus shipping charges. Feel free to email me at clphilly@gmail.com if interested. I live in Philly if you'd like to pick it up in person. Questions, let me know. Thanks!

I have some guitars that are by any measure NEW for sale but as I am not a dealer, the warranty does not transfer. However, that shouldn't affect the sale. |

You are right Tony, the warranty is void once beyond the first owner.
A few questions though...
The serial number in on the silver label inside the bowl. Since the 3862 was made overseas (Japan I believe) it falls outside the standard US serial dating codes. The Ovation price history has them not being sold until 1990. The 1985 & #1500 hand written in the book are questionable. Do you have the original bill of sale to confirm the year? |
