I bought the 10 pack of strings from jillooooo off of ebay. $19.95 plus 12 shipping. Looking at the total, about $3 a set. These are new 1818 Admas strings. Shipping was fast, and process went well.
I have been using Elixirs, but some folks said the 1818's were a good string, so decided to try a batch. Pretty good deal from what I could find anywhere. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I'm still using up the batch of 10 I bought when Musician's 123 had them for 99 cents. They seem better than the D'Addarios that were on the Balladeer when I bought it, but I think the D'Adds were heavier and I also took out a shim. Didn't seem to lose much volume, though. |

Location: Tennessee | I bought 20 sets from that eBay seller ... great service and a great price (I paid a total of $52 shipped). I like the 1818 strings as well as anything else. I burned through my Music123 $.99 supply really fast ... 5 of the 10 sets I bought were sent to Iraq with my son's guitar. |
