Not one...but TWO days of planned activities!!!
That means we will have THREE late jams at the hotel. I blew a lung before the end of the second jam last year. I'll have to pace myself.

Al, do we talk to you about the rooms? I'd like one with a view, preferably not of the highway, I'd prefer not too be too close to the "noisy ones" (and you know who I mean) and I have this little allergy thing that...well, just call me when you have a minute, k?

(And I can already tell that's going to rate all 10 fingers but meant to be read individually just the same)

I just ran the numbers for the room rate using my AAA discount....$241.50 per night.(not including tax)....the OFC price of $109.00 is not to shabby.
BTW...those New England guys really know how to tax a motel room. It's about 10%.

Just got an e mail from Ronnie, if any of you called earlier to book the room and had some problems they should all be straightened out now.

I'm so glad there's a fitness room and a laundry.

And real happy that there doesn't appear to be a bar.

schro,
They may not have a bar but there will be plenty of liquid "refreshments" available. As far as fitness goes...you'll definitely get a "workout." But you're on your own with the laundry thing......

Soooo...is the consensus to hang out for Saturday night as well? Or will the general population be leaving Saturday afternoon? Are there plans for Sunday or just a fun breakfast wrap up/group hug type of deal?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Haven't booked flights yet but I intend to get in on Thursday and leave sometime Sunday. Got a room at the OFC Hilton (whatever). I'll just live off of whatever everybody else orders!

Waskel...How many were at the Saturday night jam??? Last year I needed to get home for Fathers Day but that won't be a problem this year. As long as I can get my traveling partner(s) to stay I think it would be fun to extend it another night. If all else fails we can find an open mic night somewhere to invade.

Sorry, Brad. You'll have to ask someone who knew about it, and didn't have a Saturday morning flight last year.
I know Cliff was there, and I think Bobbo was.

You better be careful what you feed him before you go... You can't just give him whatever was trying to cross the highway the night before.

Hs anyone booked a room that knows they got a "double"? I'd like to split a room with two beds if possible, and stay Thurs-Sat night.

I just made my reservations with Ronnie. For those of you who are doubling up on a room, they will provide two double beds for an extra fee. It's still a good deal.
Ronnie said that she will have a meeting room available to us this year. I guess we took up to much lobby space. With that kind of room we can set up a stage and a P.A. Who's gonna to bring the disco ball??

This years attire will not consist of Hawaiian Shirts. This years it will be leisure suits. Maybe you will even get an extra chance to win the Ovation guitar if you wear your ORIGINAL leisure suit that you wore back in the 70's. :D :) :p
