Looks like the recent server changes also changed the timezone of the server from central time zone to eastern. For those of you who aren't aware, you can tweak the displayed time to match your time zone by clicking:

my profile -> edit preferences ->

Time Adjustment
The current server time is: 02-20-2006 03:51 PM
Your computer time is: 02-20-2006 12:51 PM
For local times, adjust to: -3 hours

(This example is for me on Pacific time.)

Happy birthday, Schroeder! Had I known I woulda, well, honestly I probably wouldn't of done much of anything but, hey, tell you what - you go ahead and hang onto that Ute for as long as you like, ok? Hell, consider it yours!

And feel free to consider this your card, ok?

It also seems to have affected the private messages. I tried to reply to you, dvd, but it came back with an error message. I tried to tell you we were going to Arizona the first Saturday in March.

Please stop interrupting people when they are wishing me happy birthday Mark.

My kid brother is called Mark so your disrespectful attitude surprises me not. He sent me an email today that said "Happy Birthday. I've got nothing else to say. Whatever. Mark"

And my wife was outraged when she realised. Like she's been growing older at a slower rate than me?
This year is our silver wedding - 30 years together in total. She thinks I've spent all that time getting younger? Jeez. Women.
She acts like it's a personal insult that she's married to an old man. I keep telling her "I don't look my age". "That's because you wear a paper bag on your head" she says. Women.

Well Happy Birthday.

You heard the story about the little boy who said to his mum, "When I grow up I want to be a guitar player"
His mother smiled and said, "Son, you have to choose"

As Schroeder has demonstrated by his continued absence, that was a bad idea. Gen. Jack D. Ripper was right; they're just after your precious bodily fluids. And the fluoride is a commie plot.

Congrats on the Silver Anniversary Schroeder (moreso to Mrs. Schroeder, I suspect, for being able to tolerate you for so long...must be that British 'stiff upper lip' thing, he?).

"Stiff UpperLip"

Took Mrs. Schroeder years of instruction to teach him that technique....

30 years later...Happy Anniversary :p

This got very low brow in my absence.

The silver wedding thing isn't til June. I'd better make the effort to look up the exact date.

I can't believe any married man thought I'd be back afterwards. After the bi-annual moment of passion if I uttered the words "I'm going back to the computer now to report and grade your performance for the guys, who are all waiting excitedly in front of their screens", you would now be arguing over whether 10 or 15 cents was enough for each of you to chip in for the wreath.

SWMBO "You were a long time tonight."
Me "Couldn't decide on who to think about".

And another one:

Boss "Why Miss Jones if I'd realised youwere a virgin I would have taken more time"
Secretary "Why sir, if I'd realised you had more time I'd have taken off my hose."
