Joined: June 2002 Posts: 6202 Location: Phoenix AZ Well, it's a great guitar but in addition to the BIN price his facts are also a little screwed up. The Book Elite WAS offered for retail sale. I bought mine brand new at Guitar Center and they had 2 of them! It was not built for the cover of the book. The photographer needed a guitar for the photo and somebody said "Here, use this one". It IS a very nice guitar, quite rare, and does have some historical significance due to the Book. I hope he gets his 5 grand for it, but I have serious doubts.
