Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Ordered last year from the luthiers at the other end of the building and delivered earlier today . . . upgrades include the ebony board, bound f-holes, Jason Lollar pups, and just a little bit o’ bling. I’m not worthy! The finish is their standard transluscent cherry, although the image appears to be a bit more orange in the photo. Happy Birthday to me. And a special thanks to Al for coordinating the custom upgrades.

Man...
Oh man...
*sigh*
I needs me one of dem Hamers. And custom, the exact way you wanted it...
That's the way to go my friend!
Enjoy, and I'm awaiting the review. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I haven't played it yet, but Al did for a few minutes before he sent it on its way to me and he raved. The action is set incredibly low by Hamer. I'll give it a go tomorrow evening. I found myself playing the ES-335 CRSTD with the coil tap switch always in the single coil mode, so I really wanted the P-90s, then I read a review of a similar Monoco III upgraded with the Jason Lollar P-90s and had to have them myself. As you say, Damon, its nice to get something exactly the way you want. |

But for now.... nice! |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Thanks for all the kind words, friends. Everyone should treat themselves to something this nice once in a while. The fact that it arrived the day before my birthday was icing on the cake, so to speak. Now I need a Hamer neon sign to complete the bandroom.
Brad, no, I wasn't there in '06, but I was in '07, and was amazed at his rack of Hamers in the basement. Paul is playing a Monoco standard with twin humbuckers. |
