| Several nice Vipers are crawling out of the woodwork. I had a bid on the one below. Ealier today, the gsr1860 clown, current high bidder, bid it up over $1000, then retracted his bid. I know he was probing for the reserve price, which -- along with associated retraction -- is an Ebay no-no. If I read the bid list right, I think the reserve actually is $1000 (guy had bid $2000). Wow.

The No-caster was only around for a short transitional period in early '51 until Leo Fender dubbed it the Telecaster! |

| Your wood finished Viper and Viper III are beautiful. I've been messing about for a nice Viper at a lower price point. And, will be selling my own well-used Viper soon. |

| From the EbayEdzep dictionary: Messing About -- Bidding within a restricted range, with little hope of prevailing. I really should stop. |
