Now bashing guitars may be tolerable, but I feel that it's not right to ridicule the character of the person(s) who own them.
I'd stay away henceforth ... our guitars may be criticized for being "plastic," but there's nothing plastic about the personalities, musicianship, and camaraderie that I share with the members in this virtual musical home. |

I like all my guitars, even the no-name classical that I call my 'beach guitar.' (It's had almost as much beer poured in it as my wife!) And they all sound good for what they do.
That kind of irrational bigotry.....well it just isn't good for the music family. (unless said in fun amongst friends, of course! ;) ) |

Come on Woody, if you work at it you can pass me in the next week. I got company coming and will be busy. |

I thought about asking Dave to post a few smartass remarks for me, but he does very well on his own and knows a lot more about guitars when he isn't talking about string tubes or the like. |

I wonder where in that spectrum the participants in that thread fit as compared to, oh, say, Charlie Kaman. |

On the subject of bathrooms, the local Bend-over-again's has the wrong gender painted on the inside of the restroom doors. On the outside it says, 'Gents' but when you're inside and coming back out, in great big pink letters it says, 'Ladies.' It was a bit disorienting the first time I went in there (having experienced a few pints of faux Irish hospitality prior). |

Location: Upper Left USA | Okay in honor of hitting 5K on posting - Print a copy of this and present it to your local Barista for a free Latte' or specialty drink!
Be sure to tip generously! (Yes, paper money!)
Barista's are great people! They work hard and and put up with a lot! No I can't repay them for this but chances are if you promise to become a better Tipper they will serve you at least one free coffee!
I want a full report later. |
