Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub | I recently joined another OldTime/Bluegrass jam and musicians stand while playing. In the other jams, I've always been sitting.
I'm taking the FD14 to play for these and discovered that due to the different style 1/4" jack/endpin combo, the standard Dunlop staplocks don't actually lock-in when inserted into the endpin.
Anybody out there know what other type of straplock might worK??
The strap grove in this endpin is of a much larger outside diameter and more narrow groove width than the standard dunlop strap buttons.
Very similar to this:

They are the original version of Dunlop Lokstraps.
Here is how I found them. |

The first beer in CT is on me (of course, on Thursday evening, the hotel supplied us with beer). |
