Hey this was kinda fun once. Thought I would ask you nut'z whatcha think about a name for an acoustic Duo I am almost ready to gig with?

We play music from The Beatles and Floyd, Tull, Zeppelin, Young, CSN, Uriah Heep, and on and on. My ideas, so far, look something like this.

Order of the Negative Pong

11 Monkeys and a Hamster

Shits and Giggles

Shutup and Clap

these don't work because neither of us wants to be known as Shits or Clap but otherwise these are very good!

We Play Old Shit

The Living Limits

Would you like an Apple Pie with That

We have been trying to find "the name" for our Band for quite a while now. Democracy has it's drawbacks.

Thanks Randy, I hope you get some more serious contenders.

Hey Cruster I like "Boney Dog Rivers"

This is going to be fun. It's started already!!! The straight forward stuff is good too. This will most likely be the best way we can get clubs to pay us a fair fee. The funny stuff is great and it is my first choice but I have a feeling in the end we will chicken out and go the conservative route. I am hoping for the funny name that we can get away with.

Hey Jeff. Ya see this works good... You typed Out on Furlow. I turn that into "Weekend Pass"

Yeah We have a bunch of the nasty ones. they are funny as hell but ya really just can't use them. Assclowns actually is already on a list somewhere?
I'd like to be the band that does it though I'll bet it will draw a crowd if we could come up with something clever enough that the newspaper editor does not see it??

Funny stuff guy's You actually have some up with some good stuff. Cliff if you want feel free to use "AssClowns" or "Blow Me Whore" I like em fine but just do not have the gut's to use em.

! I'd drive from here to see you guy's if you can get that name published in a local actual newspaper!

I've got a small handful of buddies that get together on occasion for general guy stuff and debauchery (sports outings, card games, happy hours, etc.) and we've been known to be referred to as The (In)Significant Others and I've always thought that would be somewhat appropriate for a duo...

Good catchy phrase though.

You got to admit "Uncle Fuggly's Hat Band" has it's charm. Ok here's what I am think this round. I'll try.........

"Into the Big"

"Enter the Blue"

"What The Cat Dragged In"

"What the Cat Could Not Drag"

"What the Dragon Dragged In"

"Uncle Fuggly's Big Fat Cat"

"Who Let The Fuckin Cat In"

"Somebody Let the Fuckin Cat Out"

"Put Yer Pants On Patrick We're Goin Home"

Jesus Cliff I can't get that one out-a my head now!

How bout

"Knock Knock"

people will say Who's there....

and we can say Purple...

They will say Purple Who....

We'll say Uncle Fuggly's Big Purple Ass Tool!

Or not???

Hey you guy's aren't taking my ideas are ya????

As a founding member of Norfolk and Wayman (the Southwest Florida version), I appreciate the translation. It's fun to watch the crowd figure it out after a while...

Cheers,

I'll bet there is an Anagram in that mess somewhere.

I have time now to find a good name. My partner and I had an excellent first Gig. We are booked with this guy again for two parties he is throwing in the summer. We are not currently looking to book anything else until we have all the sounds we want to add to this to make it sound like 5 guy's on some songs.

It's like a famous Japanese General once said in that low and determined voice that he translated into english.....;

"First we Climb Mount Fugi! ...Then we Bomb Pearl Harbor!.........Then..........Then we Kill Godzilla!..........
