How many of you rember the "Ohio Players"?

Can you remeber the name of their big hit?

How about the "Brokland Bridge" and their hit?

Name at least one of these bands' hits and then leave another clue of your own.

Brooklyn Bridges' hit was "The Worst That Could Happen".

Too late to think of a clue. I'll do it tomorrow...

This song was written for the musical "The Music Man" in 1957. 6 years later it was performed at a Royal Command performance in Albert Hall by a group thought to be "just another passing fad"...

This band was named after a variant of LSD and had a cover hit with a song about being incurably depressed when it's hot.

It's tough to think up hard enough clues in this crowd.

A guy named Donnie Iris had a hit single in 1980 called "Ah, Leah". He also had a hit in 1976 with a one-hit wonder band. Name the band and the song.

BONUS ROUND: Donnie is one lucky dog... how many people have had lightning strike three times? He was also part of another one-hit wonder in 1970. For bonus points, name that band and song.

Sorry, no winner. The correct answer is "Dead Skunk". Please play again next week...

Henry McCullough and Jimmy McCulloch were both in Wings. Henry in '72-'73, Jimmy '74 through '78.

This will probably sound bad, but when I read that, I got a mental image of that kid from that show "Life Goes On" fronting a punk band.

Do they have a hit?

Now here's one, I don't know if it crossed the border but was a fantastic one hit situation 'back when". It was only released as a 45, they never recorded an album under their own name.

Who recorded, "A Country Boy Named Willie."

and what was their other claim to fame?
.............................................
'nother one.
Two hit wonder.

Sugarloaf, name the songs.

The Sugerloaf answers are Green Eyed Lady and Don't Call Us.
Sugerloaf was formed out of two bands. The Beast, and Chocolate Hair..
Yep.. Chocolate Hair..

I did know that but didn't remeber it until I read it.

How about changing it up and naming a line from a song and guessing the hit?

'Just because in a moment of madness, I took advantage of your sweet love.'

I didn't say they had to be big hits.

I should have checked the album. 'Well Alright' is on it. But 'One Chain' is the song. I didn't know that Santana was doing a cover.

I actually knew that one. What I don't remember for sure is whether or not Clapton played on it.

Clapton, no, but Townshend was involoved in the "Crazy World of Arthur Brown". They had a heavy keyboard guy...Wakeman or someone like that. My bro tells me AB played the Burning Man festival recently. Pretty wild to glam past 60!

Well All Right is a cover, too. It was a Buddy Holly song.

Can you name the Buddy Holly song that The Beatles covered?
