Location: Chehalis, Washington | Last December, I had my house broken into and just about everything of value taken. The one thing that hurt the most was my guitar, which had been my life's savings when I bought it.
If anyone runs across this, let me know.
1994 Ovation Custom Legend 1869
6-string Super Shallow bowl w/cutaway (rt. hand)
Cherry Cherryburst finish w/abalone trim
5-piece mahogany neck
carved walnut bridge
OP-24 preamp w/single 1/4" out
D'Adario EXP .16 gauge strings
OHSC (does not have Ovation logo)
I was unfortunately stupid and apparently didn't ever write down the serial number. I bought the guitar new in 1995, and just never thought to plan for losing it.
If anyone sees something like this, there are a couple identifying items.
First, my guitar has two small hairline cracks in the lower part of the rosette, in the finish above the inlay, about 3/4" apart that run from the inside (soundhole) to the outside. Second, the OP24 was having trouble, and may have a short in it. It would periodically get really loud, then really quiet.
My case did not have the Ovation logo - it was just smooth black on the outside, and is a bit thicker than most O cases, with black interior.
In it was also two straps - a well-worn red & grey woven strap with one leather end trimmed (I'm not very tall) and an airbrushed strap with a tropical background and a bright red Macaw (parrot) on it.
If anyone sees this guitar, please contact me as soon as possible. It was probably taken from my house to Seattle, but from there could have gone anywhere.

Location: Chehalis, Washington | I thought about it, but I honestly can't remember if I sent in the registration or not. I don't have the receipt anymore, and the store I bought it from is closed now.
Anyone know if they can pull the records from where the guitar was sent from the factory?
