Location: MA | I've been playing a crappy Harmony acoustic guitar for 20+ years. I finally treated myself to an acoustic guitar. A local shop was blowing out some ovations and I scored a new 6778LX in NEB for $699 with case. I think I did good! Sounds good unplugged and plugged in! |

Great choice on the 6778LX, by the way! |

Now you will see how you can never go back! |

Welcome. :)
I see you've been a member for a while. Now that you have a really nice guitar, post more often.
We don't bite. :D
P.S. Post some pic's of your new Ovation. |

Location: Warren,Pa. | That's my main guitar (of the two that I own) and I like it more and more each day. I got a bit carried away, though. Had the factory install XLR, switched to gold hardware...I even cut a multi-hole soundport in the bass shoulder of the bowl (I am a professional:do NOT try this at home!). When you don't own 20 guitars like some of these guys, you run the risk of doting over your only child. Enjoy! John <>{ |

I couldn't pass up the deal. They have another LX (not sure of the model) but it's the one with the soundhole for the same price. And they have a 12 string for cheap as well. If someone is interested, email me and I'll pass the details along. These guys are not an internet store, but I'm sure they could accomodate the sale. |

No but they've been known to hurt feelings.
What took you so long to move up from a cheap guitar? |

Now show up at the Tour in May and let us all play it.
You're not very far away from Hartford.
No excuses now. |

I had some major problems with administration and will no go any further with that topic. |

Al - my hats off to you having to put up 16 years of (fill in the blanks) with your superiors. I've been a teacher for about 10 years now, and I didn't even last as long as you did. I taught for six years in two schools (3 years each), and I too had my share of (*&^%$#) with the administration, that I resigned. Knock on wood ... so far, I'm glad that I don't have the above-mentioned negative stuff with my current employer. |
