I would hereby like to establish that from this day forward the re-issue John Lennon Legend Limited be officially know as the JL3.

After 4000+ posts, most of you will know that I am big on accronyms (BOA). CL (custom legend), JW (josh white), GCDB (glen campbell deluxe balladeer) and AD2 (al dimeola II) are pretty obvious but I'll take credit as the first to really use them on a regular basis. Now most other have followed my lead. Some of my better recent ones have been WRB (wooden round back) and SUC (shut up cliff).

I submit that we refer to him as HWMUA.[1] Maybe we should start a poll and vote on it.

He's SO. You can add an acronym if you'd like. I prefer "He's SO FOS."

Just another devotee we will soon find laying in a bunk bed dressed in a leather trimmed latex jumpsuit, covered with a black blanket having been "hauled away" by the Celestonians.

It's not a 3, it's a backwards E.

Then shouldn't it be J(L**3) or (J)L**3?

Unfortunately, my genius is limited to the ability of starting self serving topics that I know will result in praise being heeped upon me.

Topic redirect - The more I play the JL3, the more and more I like it. There is just something about the whole package that "works" for me. I've got better sounding and better looking guitars, but the JL3 is really starting to grow on me.

I agree with the use of the TLA (three letter acronym); maybe I'll carve JL3 into the 12th fret. The JL3 has definitely become my go-to guitar. Like SOB (StandingOvationBoy) ;) I think I have better sounding acoustics but something about the whole package just seems so right when I play it.

Oh my ... most of my students in the autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) speak in the third person, wherein, for example, he/she would say " is sad" rather than use "I" or "me."

It may not be matematically correct, but Dave says it's JL3, so therefor damn it it's JL3. Get used to it. Dave

Still at the justification? I would've thought that by now we would have move onto non-verbal symbols for TGFKAJL3. Or TSOBFKAD. One of the two anyway...
