Location: SoCal | There are a couple of things that come to mind regarding the construction of the two guitars (I've never played them back to back). First, everything that I've ever read says that the EA-68 uses better materials in the construction. I've heard of intonation problems with the CV-68. Also, the EA-68 uses a "thru the body" string attachment like a Fender Strat. The CV-68 uses the standard Ovation style pinless bridge. I would imagine that "thru the body" system would make better use of the chambered body and result in better body vibration. |

Location: Tennessee | Add one: EA68 has a 5 piece neck, Korean one has celebrity style 2 piece. Ebony vs. Rosewood fretboards. Like moody said, different bridges with different designs (I like the looks of the USA ... not your average Ovation bridge). Top is nice grade solid spruce vs. Lam on the Korean. |

The CV-68 has a "CV" in front of the 68, two consonants, where as The EA-68 has a "EA" in front of the 68, two vowels. I kid you not. |
