Location: Avondale, AZ | I opened my brand new CV68 today. I was very disappointed. It wasn't a cv68. It was a green Showmaster. A POS $50 guitar. It came from the place that is sending me the CV68. I called them and they said mine is pack and ready to ship today. I'll wait and see I guess. |

Location: Avondale, AZ | The guy called today. He gave me a tracking number and said he is having UPS pick up the other guitar. I should have my CV68 Friday. A week and a half after I paid for it. |

Location: Avondale, AZ | I still have the showmaster. The guy said he would have UPS pick it up at no cost to me. Today the CV68 did arrive but no sound when it is plugged in. No matter how this turns out, this guy is getting a negative rating from me. |

Location: closely held secret | Don't give him feedback till he gives you yours. This guy sounds a lot like the one I bought my Balladeer from - took 2 weeks to ship, had undisclosed damage, shipped with badly corroded strings, never sent the new ones he promised me twice... being an ebay noobee I gave him a negative feedback - and he turned around and gave me one complaining that I gave him one! |

Location: closely held secret | ...I don't know, Crusty. All I know is it sucks when you get jerked around by an ebay seller (music store, pawn shop, whatever) and leave them a honest negative feedback, only to find that in spite of the fact you paid immediately and waited patiently THEY give YOU negative feedback because you said something.
Some of these ebay sellers have thousands of transactions - one negative doesn't do them the harm it does to a buyer with 100. |

Location: Avondale, AZ | I did not know about the battery but I checked it and its ok. The guy is not taking my calls. His add said the CV68 had a graphic equalizer. It doesn't. I used my credit card and payed through paypal, so I guess I still have some recourse. I also still have the first guitar he sent me by mistake. He said he would send UPS to pick it up but if he doesn't make good on the CV68, I have a friend who will by the showmaster for $100. |

Location: Tennessee | Viper are intended to be plugged in!!! The only use for them unplugged is personal practice.
I assume this is the auction you won? Viper Auction The preamp is definitely an oddity, I've never seen one like that before. But it does appear to be branded Ovation. The seller says that you have 24 hours to decide if you want to keep it ... if you are unhappy, take him up on the offer terms. You both can then avoid negative feedback and chalk up the incident to experience. |

Location: Avondale, AZ | It would still cost me the $49 I paid in shipping plus what I would have to pay to ship it back. All that money because he was dishonest. He is avoiding my phone calls that were telling him about my dislike. It is mark a second. Maybe some employee at Ovation made it wrong. |

| OLJ, even if he's avoiding you, at least send a message to him through the Ebay system before the 24 hours runs out. Note in the message that it will serve as a record of your intent. |
