Here I am in Honolulu with the family. Went to the Polynesian Cultural Center (recommended). At the Luau, the guitarist was playing an Elite shallow bowl. Had the older preamp. Natural top. Headstock was pretty beaten up, both "ears" were broken off.

Then, after the luau, went to the performance/program. Same guy, same guitar. However, the other guitarist in this program had another Ovation. Looked like an Elite with a sunburst finish. Couldn't tell much since he was quite far away.

Hawaii, two Ovations, Pina Colada. Heaven!

When I was in Honolulu a few years back I saw a guy playing a Ovation acoustic electric uke.

It was great, I never even knew they made them !

There was a guy playing a CS247 in cherryburst at Pinnacle Peak steakhouse in Arizona when I was there a couple of weeks back. He played guitar and sang to a Karaoke backtrack for his whole show. It was so cheesy it was great.
