Location: Denver, PA USA | Hello folks,
I do setups and repairs and just got an Elite. I need to buy a truss rod wrench for it. I didn't find one that would work on Stewart Macs site. Where can I get one?
Thanks, |

Location: closely held secret | The nice thing about the Factory wrenches (who named them 'wrenches' anyway? it's just a piece of extruded steel...hmm..)... but I digress.
They're nice because of the extra length, you can get better leverage than a standard size Allen (and who was he anyway, getting a wrench named after him?)....
AHA! Thank goodness for Answers.com, and a fine coincidence as well:
"Allen wrench" was originally a trademark of Allen Manufacturing Company in Hartford, Connecticut in 1943. |

I can see this is going to give Dave another idea for a thread like his string tubes and bowl paint threads. |

Though I have a set of Allen wrenches (and some extra ones besides), I didn't have one to adjust the Elite T I had just received. Having the exact size posted here made it extremely easy to go buy the right one--the first time.
Thank you. |
