What do you think of this Crate amp?

I have seen good write ups about it but just wondered if anyone had any hands on experiance with it. It has great sound and lots of nice features without being difficult to operate. I paid $400 new for it. Joined: January 2006 Posts: 2120 Location: Chicago I have the smaller model, a new Crate 30D. The upside is it's very portable, solid and nice to look at. The basic sound is a fine match for my Legends. The downside are the effects. I don't like the delay or verb very much: a bit thin and mechanical/tinny sounding. I now combine the ZOOM A2.1u pedal with it. Now, THAT is a beautiful thing.
