There was no ill intent in my comment; just a heart felt and honest personal opinion. I knew that there might be some that would not agree, but so be it.
Hopefully you can feel the same of your fellow citizens. I, for one, will gladly celebrate with you and yours during an Aussie holiday of the same nature! |

Location: Tuscany, Italy | We celebrate the Labor Day the 1st of May here and is very common to take the family to the beach or go for a pic-nic.
Concerts are normally organized even in small villages to entertain people. No way to stay at home.
So enjoy your Labor day and stay safe ! |

Location: Tuscany, Italy | That's true. Nowday it became very common that (on special occasion) local authority invite pro musician or national stars to perform for free (W Italia !!). That was a privilege of big city only .... but, you know, thing change ..... and we enjoy nice concerts ;) |

Kicking myself for not seeing it in IMAX . . . Those kinda flicks always seem to make it around at least one more time on the IMAX screens so you might still have a chance. |

Give a cheer for the Tigers for me. They've been 'my' team since the 60's.
(My other favorite team is who ever is playing the Yankees, so it's a double win for me)

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Wow, I wish all of you could have been here today. We had such a good jam session. There was a clawhammer banjo player here from California and he is SOOOO good! A guy from Rapid City came in, and he played mandolin. One of my "regulars" dropped by and of course he played guitar. Then there was this incredible female vocalist here from D.C. I played guitar part of the time, and banjo part of the time, and we all sang harmony. We did everything from old bluegrass standards, to old folk standards, to blues, to Neil Young, and I even played a little jazz with Nikki (the singer). Now it's time to go home, but as it's still 100 degrees and I don't have A.C. at the house, I may just stay open a little longer. |
