Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Oh and by the way, have got an Elite from 1983 was it equipped with a nut made out of tusk ? the one that`s on it is made out of plastic and is a little high , that is, distance nut versus 1stfret is quite higher ,than distance 1stfret versus 2ndfret all other frets are fine , so was thinkin` changing plastic nut for a tusk one,yet there`s a shopkeeper who claims it needs a neckadjustment , but I can n`t detect a trussrod anywhere , as far as I know adjusting an Ovation is removing shims from saddle and/or shimming the nut , am I totally wrong here ?any advice will be greatly appreciated

the 1537 has a Kaman Bar in the neck....you need to peep through the access hatch...

It's pretty easy to do and makes a difference. Denmark heh. You guys drawing anymore cartoons lately? |
