On Saturday May 20th we will have 2 clinics
both will run from 9:30-11:30. You must choose one. Please e mail me at alpep@aol.com with Matt smith workshop or Susan Mazar in the subject line.

Matt Smith has been a long time Ovation, Hamer clinician and has also been affiliated with the Ovation Fan club and workshop live. Matt will provide a master class aimed at the experienced player who wants to devlop thier chops. If interested you can make requests for Matt's clinic via his section of this website. Remember matt is available for your questions on this site. Unfortunately it has been underutilized but I am sure that after you attend the workshop with Matt you will understand where he is coming from

Susan Mazar will be teaching a beginning guitar clinic. She is affiliated with Workshop live and the National Guitar Workshop and an accomplished player and teacher. Her workshop is aimed at beginners but will address topics of interest to the students.

Please send me the e mails for registration so I can figure out logistics materials etc.
thanks

Not knowing which class to sign up for, I e-mailed Matt for an inquiry, to which he immediately sent me a reply.

As per Matt's reply, he will be doing a class on open tunings, which he claims "almost anyone can do." If Matt's class interests you, e-mail Al to sign-up.

Sorry if this is non pertinent, but I've looked at Matt's forum and it isn't clear how to access the information.

Let me try to explain. On the OFC index page, the 'Matt Smith's World' forum indicates 26 topics and 43 posts. When you enter the forum, there are only 2 topics. likewise, on 'Playing Tips from Matt Smith', the index says there are 58 topics and 325 posts. When you enter the forum, there are only 3 topics.

I would love to utilise this service, but would rather peruse other OFC members posts before jumping in with my own, possibly already asked questions.

If this post is inappropriate, by all means delete it, but I'm thinking that may be one of the reasons the service is underutilized.

Best wishes

Murray
