25 yrs ago today I almost died with my Viper. I was 7 days from being 21 years old. I was in a roll over accident with a 4WD. I was driving my brother's Ford. It flipped and dumped the load out the back. My Viper fell out of the bed still in its case. I split my head open to the skull. My first question was: 'Where is my guitar?'

I barely lived, but my guitar came away without a scratch. The case was missing a couple of hindge pins, and had a few scratches.

I always thought the last words were spoken by the passenger : "Betcha can't".

To quote Clint Eastwood, "Dying ain't much of a living, boy"

....and though we have covered this ground before, the most common last words of rednecks are, "Hold my beer!"

Actually there was no beer nor alchol involved. It was the lack of sleep.

When first reading this thread and adding up 46, my first thought was, "what's the 'old ' in OldLiverJones?" I'm 52, going on 53 in July. I'm OldJones.
