Beginning, Thursday, April 27, 2006, 7:00am, PDST, Adrian Legg will be auctioning off two Ovation Adamas guitars on eBay. One is a Custom 12 string built specifically for Adrian.

The other is an Adamas Prototype D Ovavtion Longneck 6-string. Believed to be one of only three in existence.

Location: Scotland | Adrian is a great player and is incredibly knowlegable and articulate. When I was a kid on the UK country circuit he was THE hot player, he could run rings around Albert Lee, Frank Rekard, Ray Flacke or any of those guys at that time. Since he's done his acoustic thing, regardless of the guitars he's played, Ovation or otherwise (and lately it's been "otherwise") I've always hated his tone, especially live. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | When I clicked on it it said that the longneck wasn't available anymore. Not making a joke. As I recall there were 4 longnecks made, in the blue/green color, bleen as it was called. Then the silver one was made and Preston's. Kummer has one of the bleen ones as his personal guitar so there are 3 others out there, this must be one of them. |
