Location: Waurika OK | Back in Jan. of this year I posted about having been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. My PSA was 80. I appreciate all the kind responses that came my way.
Took a 3 month testosterone blocker shot.
Yesterday local doctor drew blood for a new PSA check, got the results this morning.
My PSA is now 0.8! Fantastic!!!
I have an appointment with my Uroligist next Monday, will see exactly what this means. I think at the very least, remission.
Modern medicine is good!
Many prayers on my behalf, very humbling.
God is GREAT!
Thanks all,
noel |

Great News!! :) :) :)
After your previous post I think most of the male members made appointments with their Doctors. I know I did. My PSA was 0.36. PTL!!
And my wife thought we were a bunch of old fools talking about guitars. :D |

You're right Schroder, yours was worse and attitude is everything. If I get through this without it rearing its ugly head again, I am the most blessed guy in the world.
Randy, I wondered if you still had the 1613. |

I just saw my oncologist a couple of weeks ago, and he had me do a PET scan (I had stage three colon cancer 18 months ago). Anyway, the scan was all clear and the doc said I'm doing so well, he only wants to see me twice a year now. I had been seeing him every 90 days. I know it's because of all the prayers and the healing power of the Almighty that I'm here to tell about it today.
Noel, I rejoice with you and pray for your continued good progress. |
