I just acquired from eBay a used SWR Strawberry Blonde amp. It arrive in a badly damaged box and the amp was more "used" than I expected with two of the screws securing the electronic control panel missing (the panel is a little loose). While the amp sounds good the reverb control has absolutely no effect on the sound and neither does the aural enhancer control.

I am trying to determine if the electronics package is damaged and if so whether it can be economically repaired. Does my description suggest to you this amp is damaged? The amp powers up and delivers sound without any crackling. Any help would be appreciated from those of you who know this amp. THANK YOU

Don't know much about the amp but I would definately contact the seller about the condition.

Also, was it shipped insured? With exterior damage to the box you can probably file a successful claim.
