Looks like we're shooting for Tuesday the 9th - now where?
How about a quick roll call of who might like to show up and where everyone is from? And what time of day that everyone is available?
Sally - from Castle Rock - and I can make time to goof off almost any time except Thursday -Saturday nights (darn work does get in the way sometimes).
You guys can email me at: bono AT satorri.com
Once a week I go to Broomfield and I could arrange to do that on Tuesday. I'm game to go up to Pablo's coffee in Denver if that works out for everyone else. If the weather is nice, we might have some outdoor seating options up there - There are some outdoor tables at Pablos - and there is a patio area at Angelo's Pizza (I'd just want to call to see if they would object - but I'm guessing if we went during a quieter time (mid afternoon or maybe after 8pm) they wouldn't mind at all.
My vote is for late afternoon - let's say 4PM or so. How about you guys? |

Have no function in life but to hijack threads and play guitars. You have just met 3 of the worst.
I'm thinking Tuesday would work for me. Anytime from 4:00 on. Pizza at Angelos would be cool. |

Schroeder - head on over to Heathrow - we'll be there - just wait for us...
28 - bring the 1537 - that model has a storied history with my acquisition of my slothead...
Sally - it's still in your court |

However, I do have the 1547, which is the cutaway version of the 1537 that I will be happy to bring along. Will that one work and still have the history with the slothead?
Meeting in Castle Rock works fine for me. I live down by Arrowhead...C470/Wadsworth area so Castle Rock or Denver....distance is about the same for me. |

I picked it up from a disgruntled ebay buyer who thought it had been misrepresented and a turd. They were right on both counts.
Sent it back to the mothership and had them perform their magic but the repair cost plus a new case (the old one was in pieces) set me back over $700.)
However, it came back like new, gorgeous and plays like butter......so one of the rarest of the rares at a not too cheap final price but worth every penny. It is a keeper all the way! |

Well.. we make it Castle Rock(or thereabouts)... 6:30 - or up in Denver at closer to 7:30. Place your vote. :) (I'd still rather do Denver, but it really doesn't matter if the time doesn't work out for one of you)
If you two would like Castle Rock...
There is a coffee place on Perry that we might be able to start out at... but not sure what time they close.
Otherwise, my restaurant of choice down here is Village Inn (nice people work there)... but not suitable for guitars.
If the weather is nice - there is outdoor seating out at Granelli's pizza on the main drag - Wilcox - and their pizza is pretty tasty.
Elgin - I hope you make it back from Heathrow in time.

Shall I bring SH #43?

Location: Denver Colorado | Hey... I'm here.
The last few days have been a bit challenging - I was babysitting the 10 month old grandbabe on Friday when she got terribly sick with some stomach bug so she (and I) had to spend the day in the ER with her on an IV to keep her from dehydrating into dust.
It caught up with me yesterday - she was kind enough to share whatever it was with me - I spent the day on the couch. Anyway... I'm firing away on all 8 cylinders again today.
So... we decided on Denver, right? 7:30 right? That puts us up at Pablo's coffee on 6th & Washington and we can grab dinner at Angelos if you guys would like.
Is it still just the three of us? Anybody track down Prof. ? |

We could push getting together for pizza back to 8:30 and meander over to Prof's house by 10.
That would work - unless one of you turns into a pumpkin by 10.

I will have to check it out with SWMBO but I could probably swing it for a bit.
Guess that throws it to EA.
The other option would be to move it to Weds since I know the Professor is free on that day. |

In another thread they're talking about a bunch of OFC'rs working together to produce a CD of original material via long distance, and here we've watched just 4 members (well, started out as 3) spend 7 days just trying to figure out when and where to get together, and they all live in the same town.

We are on for 6:30 at Angelo's on Wednesday (tomorrow)- then mosey over to Prof's place? Right?
And Waskel... be nice, now. While we are all around the Denver area... it's still a little bit of a trot. While going from the far north suburbs to the far south suburbs might only be 40 miles... it can turn into a REALLY SUCKY two hour drive through Denver (unless you travel after about 8 p.m.)
I think we did good if we got 4 of us together within a week. :)
Now who's gotta be picked up from the airport?!?!?
:)
I'll bring the first official commemorative guitar picks for everybody. :)

Sounds more like a get to know each other acoustic play along sing a song get together anyway.
I REALLY want to see and play that plastic SH guitar that EA has! It will be frustrating being able to only use the right hand but what the hell.....the chance to handle an original will be worth the frustration.

"Professor BB"... America's oldest Top-Shelf Brand Whiskey that makes you smarter!
Aged in oak casks hidden in caverns under Holden Chapel in Harvard Yard...
During the renovation of the roughly 255-year-old Holden Chapel, construction crews stumbled across an entrance to an extensive series of caverns under Harvard University. It is believed that for over three centuries, this Spirit has been produced secretly under the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. |

Look at the previous hot tub picture. That's just skin irritation (razor burn) from where the Professor's beard was. It looks worse than it really is. Once you get used to the hot water, the irritation will subside. |
